Join us for another accessible adventure, we will explore a new spot on the American River! Get ready to cover yourself in shade, immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and become one of the wild inhabitants of this incredible parkway. Located at Howe River Access, 7929 La Riviera Dr, Sacramento, CA 95826. There is a social off road trail next to the paved bike trail that we will explore for 2.5 miles. We will weave in and out of the woods and the bike trail. Our final destination will be a beach where we will have lunch before we head back to where we parked.
NatureTrack will be providing manual wheelchair users with Freedom Trax (https://freedomtrax.com). The wheelchair transforms into a tank like motorized accessory to explore off-road trails. It has a power chair like controler. A limited number of Freedom Traxs will be available, so sign up to reserve your spot.
There’s something for everyone to enjoy in on the American River Parkway. Witness the incredible biodiversity, chill out by the river, watch the duck and fish swim around and calm your nervous system. Come chill with friends and make new ones.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to take a hike in a wheelchair and connect with nature. Grab your friends and family, and join us for an unforgettable day of exploration and adventure!
